Hi folks - my name is Anne. I read Cosmic Ordering early this year along with many other manifesting books. All the other books suggest visualisations are the key to manifesting desires. This visualising keeps the momentum of the desire going and brings it into physical reality. But, my thoughts from reading Baerbel's book is that she just orders and then dismisses any further thought as she knows the delivery will be taken care of. Do I read this correctly? Do any of the forum members here visualise or do you simply ask and receive?

I am so sorry, I speak no other language other than English, but having said that, I managed to become a member here!

Well, to my opinion both techniques are possible.

Bärbel`s technique is, as you have already written, to "forget" the wish. But it is impossible for me to forget something or the dream I have if it is connected to a special person or to my strong desires. Bärbel`s strategy is only successful in my everyday life if the wish is not special - like e.g. being successful in finding nice clothes, a good parking space, etc.
It is also possible to write a letter in which you write in detail about your desire, but then you have to forget it, i.e. you have to keep it in a special box or a cupboard - its the LOLA Principle (I dont know the English word).

Ohter authors favour visualising. You have to act as if you have already received your wish, you have to activate all your senses.
- Some days ago, I visualised. To me it was an almost impossible wish but then I changed my mind and visualised that I am already funny because I managed to achieve my great dream. Dont ask me how, but yesterday I had this feeling in real because a day before my wish was transferred into reality. Actually it was impossible but now for me nothing seems impossible.

So, my concept is as follows: the Cosmic Ordering Service is ok for wishes I can "forget", but visualising is better for the wishes which are very important for me. But if I am afraid of something nothing happens...

But others may have other concepts..

Yes I have seen The Bleep. A good film. Have you seen The Secret yet? I've heard its really good but I've not yet seen it for myself.

I've not seen The Secret yet, but I believe it to be along the lines of What The Bleep. I'm not sure if it is linked to Neale Donald Walsch. I'm not sure if I can put website links here, but here goes: www.thesecret.tv
You can watch the film for $4.95 or order the DVD for $29.95. You can watch a free preview too. I've gone for the DVD so I'll have to wait for it to arrive. Yes Jokel, I have read Convesations with God. Book 1 was really good, but Book 2 has been a let down for me. At the moment, I've diverted off from reading that to Dr Wayne Dyer - The Essence of Being in Balance (or some similar worded book as the book is not at hand to check the title). I'm very tempted to pick up Book 3 and read that and divert past the Book 2. Have you read all 3? Did you enjoy them?

I've ordered Conversations with God Book 1 and I'm still waiting for it to arrive. I'm looking forward to reading it.

I've read a book by Dr. Wayne Dyer some years ago and I really liked it.

It's interesting that I've read many books about the mind power but I've never seen a movie on this topic yet. I'll check your link about the Secret.

By the way one of my most favourite books concerning this topic of mind power is a book called "The mind power" by John Kehoe. I have read it many times and it is always inspiring to me.

I'm looking forward to reading your opinion about the movie you have ordered.

Hi Jokel and Cloudy- the Secret arrived today and I've watched it and it's great!
It's basically the story of Law of Attraction using interview from various well known people in this area of thinking (Donald Neale Walsch, Esther Hicks to name but two). I have read so many books, but this film is outstanding. I am inspired beyond words. I know it tells us of the things we already know (we wouldn't be here at this site if we thought otherwise) but hearing these people talk about it, makes it so real. If you are like me, doubt can creep in often, but after seeing the film, I feel alive with it all again. I truly recommend it. Better than What The Bleep? Different. There is no need to understand The Secret I feel, where as What The Bleep needed concentration to understand.
Anyway, enough from me!
Let me you know what you think on Conversations with God. And my apologies for not knowing he was linked to The Secret.
I'm off to watch it again!

Anne, I just saw that you can translate the homepage into German e.g. at yahoo (icon: translate page). But you will have to guess sometimes what the meaning of some sentences is as the translation is done word by word..

I managed the registration Process to

I am currently half way through the Cosmic Ordering service book as we speak and the very same question had been floating around my brain since i started . ..

I have started to put the Ordering request into practice and already two have become a reality . . literally just today to be exact .

I asked about some friends that we have not seen for a long time to come and suprise us . . Literally within an hour they were knockin on the door . . needless to say i was speachless and my confidence in ordering has just grown immensly .

What has worried me though is if I place to many orders . . Forgive me but i do not completely understand all of this just yet and as i say I am only halfway through the book . but I don't want to appear cheeky ordering to much at one time . ( for example - there is something that i would really like to do in the next couple of months but it is rather big and seeing as i 'a newcomer' in all of this would that be considered as pushing my luck a little bit ?

And this thing that i have just mentioned Really means a lot to me and I am thinking about it all day everyday and I read in the book that i need to forget about .in order for it to come true .But I don't know how to ??

finally my book "Conversation with god" has arrived. I've read it already and I think that most of it iswell written.

I have read so many books about creating our reality but never were the details so well explained. I enjoyed the reading and there is much food for thought for many weeks I suppose.

I've ordered "The Bleep" from my beloved England. It arrived very quickly. The part I liked most was the scene about The Water. Did these scene touch you so much too, Anne? Or do you have another favourite scene?

I would like to watch "The Secret" soon.

I'm so sorry for not visiting the fourm in the last week - it's been hectic here (and hot, and it's Wimbledon!)

First of all Cloudy - thanks for tip on the translation. Perhaps I won't need to learn German just yet! The Secret is a must have item to cosmic order!

Jokel - You've read Conversations with God already! Are you ready for the next book in the trilogy? As said before, the second is harder going, but still worth reading. What other books have you read on this subject Karina? Have you read Ask and it is Given, or Excuse me your life is waiting? I recommend these too.
There was a lot in The Bleep, and I really must watch it again. The water was amazing though, I agree. Wayne Dyer talks of this water phenomen too. Makes you think when you consider the percentage of water that our bodies consist of.

Smilie - thesecret.tv is the website to order the dvd or you can watch it online. If you order the dvd it only took a week or so to come from America so not long. If you live in the UK then you can pick up Conversations with God in most high street book shops, or my favourite place is amazon.co.uk. It sure does sound like you are doing well on the manifesting front. Isn't hard to forget orders for what we really want? But the way I look at it is, if we really want something, that act of really wanting it causes it to be further away. Our anxiousness causes resitance. Barbel writes in her book that if you catch yourself chasing an order up, you should release the thought. When I catch myself doing it, I simply say to the Universe "sorry about that, there I go again chasing my order up, you know best, and I leave this order in your capable hands" (or similar words to that!). And Smilie - you order as much as you want. The Universe is infinite. The more you order, the more your confidence grows, and so on. There isn't a little man that says "Smilie - you've ordered too much too soon so I won't grant you any more orders for a while". So get on and order and let your confidence grow!
